This past June Brandon and I made a major life decision.  We adopted our first pup together.  Brandon’s birthday is June 3rd, and all he has wanted since college was a big boy of his own.  So, being that it was his 25th birthday, I decided the time was right to get a puppy…

To say these past few months have been a challenge would be an understatement.  If you’re thinking of getting a puppy- don’t haha (juuust kidding…kind of). Perhaps just adopting a lovable dog that is about a year or so old and in need of a good home is a wiser decision. I’m not saying I regret it, I love our pup TO DEATH, but MAN puppies are like having a baby! A baby that bites.  Hard.  And we were told that once his baby teeth fell out the biting would just stop.  Well he is now 6 months with big boy chompers and we are still waiting for that magic moment.

Crowley is a German Shepherd and quite possibly the most handsome pup ever created. (Mommy goggles) But for real- everywhere we go people will stop us and gush over how good looking he is.  All I have to say is he’s lucky he is so darn cute! Like any German Shepherd Crowley is a GREAT dog.  Very smart.  A little too smart.  But alas he is still a big baby so he is CRAZY! It has been especially challenging raising a puppy while I am in the middle of that big push that gets my business from “started” to “rollin”.  It’s a little hard to sit down at my Mac to edit 1,000 images with a little gator-baby toy squeaking in my lap every 5 seconds.

Although it has been a lot of work and frustration in the beginning, we expected it, and wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Sometimes (and by sometimes I mean at least once every 3 days) I find myself scrolling through pictures chronologically on my iphone that I have taken of Crowley and it makes me so sad to watch him grow! I cannot BELIEVE how freakin big he has gotten in only 4 months.  When we first took him home he looked like a little bear cub and now he is close to 70 pounds and pulls me down the street to the point where my feet almost leave the ground ending in a face-plant after squirrels.

So today I decided to back up my iphone photos on my computer and made a folder of puppy photos and below are some of my favorites throughout the last 4 months.

*some are straight from my phone so please excuse the bad quality

Without further ado, meet Mr. Crowley :)

When we first picked him up to take him home! I told you, a little bear cub!

Quite possibly my favorite picture of him on the left lol I can’t even handle it.Examples of a naughty puppy:And these were taken yesterday…so big! :((please excuse our laundry room…and his red rocket…he gets excited)

Oh my gosh my heart aches thinking how fast he is growing!!

And incase you missed it on facebook, Brandon and I are getting married!! :)
